Shout or Whisper - Showcase

Do you write? Have you ever wanted to exhibit your stuff in front of a friendly audience? Do you want to be a part of a community of local, lovely writers? 

Shout or Whisper has been putting on open mic events since December 2018 and we are thrilled to be hosting a mini event at Cantina Carnitas, all in aid of Humanitas Charity. 

This is an open mic showcase of writers in the area and we are looking for people to come and give 5 minute performances to show off their talents. We are open to all styles and flavours of performance. Previously we've had poetry, rap, spoken word, singer songwriters, novelists, dramatists and everything in between, quite honestly. 

This event will be preceding a writing workshop, which is similarly a pay what you feel session (more information fan be found here:  ) If you wanted to sharpen your talents before coming and performing, then the workshop might just be for you. 

Not a performer? Then come along and support local creatives.  This is a pay what you feel event raising money for Humanitas Charity. 

Spaces are limited, but, to guarantee your attendance, you can claim your free ticket via our website. Any donations you feel like giving on the day would be greatly received.
